What are Deacons?

Well, Deacons are many things to the Church the most important of which is that of being a servant to the Lord (Lord's Supper), a servant to the people and a servant to the Pastor. The first deacons were called and chosen in the Bible in the book of Acts 6:1-7. These seven men were of good reputation and were full of the Spirit and wisdom. We also can see more qualifications for the deacon in the book of I Timothy 3:8-10. Our deacon ministry at Talmo Baptist Church is here to do what the Bible tells us, to serve you and your need(s).
