Talmo Baptist Church Food Bank
Sponsored by the Sweet Spirit Sunday School Class, all food isdonated by people of the churh or other caring people.
The food bank is open two days per month - the second and fourth Thursday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
There are people at the food bank to give not only food for the body but food for the soul. The plan of salvation is given as well as an invitation to worship at Talmo Baptist Church.
Donations of non-perishable items are accepted if you would like to contribute to the Food Bank.
Because the Food Bank has been able togive to so many people recently,it is getting low on some items.Anything you can givewould be greatly appreciated!
Items needed are:
Canned peas, beans (not green beans), butter beans, etc.
Cereal
Peanut Butter
Jelly
Canned Milk
Pork and Beans
Canned tomatoes
Soups
Canned Pasta (spaghetti o's, etc.)
Grits
Spaghetti sauce
Instant potatoes
Pancake mix
Hotdogs
Soap (includes bath soap, dishwashing liquid, laundry liquid, hand soap, shampoo, etc)
Toilet paper
Note: Buying off brand named items is a great money saver!!!
As always, money donations are greatly appreciated. Only through your generous donations of food and money is the food bank able to minister to the community.
